I'll get my workout one done today, Jo. We're missing Esme's entries, though. Esme, you ok?

I haven't seen Esme, hope she isn't sick. I'll keep it open until we know what is going on.

It was while Johnny was visiting his friend Ripp Grunt that he noticed that his sworn enemy, Ripp's brother Tank, was running through the assault course, gaining body skill. Perhaps that was why he always won when he and Johnny had fights.



Johnny thought he would try to work out for a few days, to see what happened and if it made him feel stronger. It was harder work than he thought, but he kept going.


But honestly, in the end he didn't have all that much patience. After two weeks of working out tirelessly every day, he felt no different. He had, as most teenagers do, expected immediate results.



And hey, win or lose, he still got the girl.

"No one invited you, Tank. Go away, you're stinking up the place!"
"Is your boyfriend the sissy going to make me?"
"I'm going to..!"
"Let me handle this, Phee."

"Oh %$@#. Johnny, be careful!"


Afterward, at the Grunt barracks...
"What's this I hear about you losing a fight to that wimp Johnny Smith? Never mind, I don't want to hear it! Now drop and give me twenty!"


"It's time to start acting like a Grunt and get your namby-pamby ass to work!"
*pant pant* "Yes, sir!"


Back at the Strangetown Pool...
"Not you again."
"Yes, me again..."


Later, at the Smith residence...
"Tank Grunt has it in for me and I am getting sick of it! Even kicking his ass doesn't stop him!"
"He is following in the path of his progenitor. I am unable to decipher the cause as being our green blood, or if hating us is simply in the Grunt DNA, but General Buzz Grunt has had it in for me for years, too."
"I need to know: how do you deal with General Grunt?"
"Friends, my offspring, a large quantity of friends."

Sorry, I'm just behind on everything. Here are my Johnny Smith makeover pics.

According to Johnny's bio, he wants to be the cool hero rushing in on a white horse/cool sports car. With that in mind...

Notice the liberal use of mousse, the supersized glasses, the three weeks growth of beard, and the layered look just like Don Johnson wears, only way cooler because it's black. Sorry, ladies, but Mr. Smith is spoken for.


Hey, why is everybody laughing?

When it comes to exercise, Johnny prefers to use the traditional exercise machines of his people. (Picture is just for fun.)

Amy, we seem to have had the same idea about looking at the bio, but we went in very different directions. It's true about the instant gratification, too.

Jo, I like Johnny's outfit in the regular makeover. Which SP is it from? (I'm guessing H&M? It looks like something they'd sell.) And I love your "damsel in distress" story for the workout! ;D Older brothers are such a pain, aren't they?

Lorin, How did you get Johnny to pose like that? Is it one of the poses that came with the Artist's camera from Uni? I know there are some poses on that which you can't access otherwise, but it's been years since I actually used it. And I love your workout story too. "Friends in high places..." ;D

Puddin, I never would have thought of dyeing Johnny's hair, but it works very well. He's obviously into comfort. And his workout makeover seems to go with that, since yoga is a lot more comfortable than, say, the elliptical machine.

Great job, everyone! Sorry for holding things up.

No problem Esme, your entry is great! I love his grin and the shades, and the sports car is perfect! ;D Your workout ones are exactly what came to my mind when someone mentions it: it's hard work! I love his worn out expression.

Lorin, that workout entry was brilliant! I laughed so much at the ending, PT9 is awesome!!

Ok, these are the first pictures of a sim taken on my new laptop, so let me know if anything looks strange (apart from Nervous himself haha).

While Loki and Circe are out at work, Nervous has a chance to get out in the sunshine, enjoy the little freedom he has.


He might be hiding behind sunglasses, and wearing dark clothes to blend into the scenery, but his sheer joy at being outside usually helps him to stand out.


But, whatever makes him happy is surely a good thing.

It took me ages to work out what to change, I've never seen him without that mohawk hair, so I couldn't bring myself to change it. He still lives at Circe and Loki's, but I thought I'd give him a nice day before I shoot the 'sick day' photos.
