Thanks Lorin. I can't say I have much of a plan, I just knew I wanted to do a carport and a gazebo, then I thought oh the left is bare what to do... so I tossed in some play ground items. Otherwise I look and see what areas I feel should have plants in them and stuff them in. Lag is a possibility, although what I love about cc is you can get plastic flowers and layering those takes no work and I think they are all low poly too. All those Maxis plants I used there no doubt would lag the place as well as take a lot of work unless a hack for no care plants is used.

Hello Everyone! Thank You, Jo for extending the deadline. Here is my entry for the Garden Round, TS2, CC Free.. "Make me an Eden, Charlotte," -Julie Andrews in the movie The Princess DiariesFront Yard :#1: Our tour of the Pleasant House gardens begins with a shot of the front yard and the newly re-covered exterior of the house. #2: Standing on the front walk, here is the view as you look left. Left-hand Side Yard:#3: Let's now continue through the left-hand gate and into the side yard. That's right, just follow the gravel path.. #4. Looking left from the path, several larger trees and plants have been planted to give the family more privacy from passers-by. #5. Turning right and continuing down the path, we come to the childrens' play area. Disregard the trees beyond the arches- they are no longer there, as you will soon see #6: Let's stop and rest at the bench, under the shade of a decades-old Bonsai tree. #7: Just on the other side of the swing set, there is a set of archways. Mr. Pleasant prefered to bring back entire sections of the ruins he explored in his travels, rather than take snapshots. -Will you go left or right? The pool area and the back yard:#8: No matter which way we go, we'll find ourselves in the pool area next. This is the view from the left-hand archway, turning right. #9. Here is another view of the pool, as seen from the back fence. As you can see, the Pleasants are setting up for a big party, but we'll be out of the way in time. #10: Here is an important decision; do you go to the bar for a drink, or continue on into the party? The third arch as well as the bamboo enables some guests to swim in privacy. #11: Continuing through the third archway, we enter an area of the back yard where most of the party has been set up, it seems. #12: Looking left, we see Mrs. Pleasant's speech podium. What will she be speaking about, I wonder? #13: Looking to the right, we can see that a bountiful buffet is planned for the party guests. #14: As we pass through the party area, we come to a fourth archway. What lies beyond it, I wonder? The right-hand side yard:#15: Passing through the fourth arch, we come upon the family's private grave yard. #16: Turning left through the arch way, is just a simple place to sit and contemplate the meaning of life, or just enjoy another shady spot. #17: Looking to the right we find a pond with a foot-bridge over it. #18: Here is another angle on the family graveyard. The lantern makes this a pretty spot at night, regardless of the mischief that comes from having gravestones. #19: The only way to move through the rest of the yard is to take the footbridge. Here we are mounting the bridge to cross. Looking right, you can almost see into the dining room! #20: Continuing across the bridge, we can look left over another pretty bit of scenery. #21: Coming to the end of the bridge, you have another choice of whether you turn left or right when you re-join the gravel path. Turning left gets you down the short path to the ancient shrine, clearly another one of Mr. Pleasant's "finds". #22:Turning right after stepping down from the bridge turns you towards the second of two willow trees on the lot, again planted for privacy, it also serves as a shady, tranquil place to paint. #23: A closer look at the painting. Hey, haven't we seen that corner somewhere before? #24: At last we come to the gate that takes us back to the front yard. Thank you for touring the Pleasant House gardens, and have a lovely evening. Buh-bye!

Wow, modelmgt, you transformed their garden! All the trees look great, and I like the walkway with the fountain. I have to ask, though, whose graves are they? Lorin your garden is lovely, I love the back garden with the kids play area, and all the plants and trees suit it perfectly. The house is so improved too, it looks great. ;D And thanks for the comments on my garden! I have no idea how I think these things up, usually in-game, when I'm scrolling through the buy mode catalogue...

Oh. My. Goodness! modelmgmt, your garden is amazing! You fit so much in, but it feels very harmonious and flows so nicely, not cluttered at all. And I love what you did with the outside of the house, too. I mostly don't like that stone, but it's absolutely perfect for this setting. Well done! *applauds*

A very mysterious garden modelmgt, I feel like I am on a island holiday. ;D
Talking of holidays I am going to be super busy today and will be leaving for our 5 day break tomorrow so either the poll can wait until I get back or I'll leave it up to Amy if she wants to put it up.

model: Wow, lovely garden! I can see kids exploring and playing there for hours. The podium in the party area looks like the Pleasants might be hosting some sort of fundraiser. (Sorry, I have politics on the brain right now...). I love your footbridge, it makes me wish I could really go there and walk around.

Wow, modelmgt, you transformed their garden! All the trees look great, and I like the walkway with the fountain. I have to ask, though, whose graves are they? As to whose graves are in the family graveyard..Suprise! As the pleasant house was getting remodeled, the girls grew up into full-fledged women, and Mary-Sue and Daniel I let go into elderhood. They would have died about the time I was remodeling the upstairs for the "other" room round. Thank you all for your commentary.. I took my inspiration from that one movie line, although somehow it went from "Julie Andrews english garden" Eden to more of an island-theme to go with the rest of the house. Prolly would have gotten closer to the other if I had M& G on this computer.. kept wishing for it the whole time!
