Lovely rooms, Jo! The purple and the yellow work well together, and I love that nursery set. I'm quite cross that it's not available for Macs because it's so nice. That bedding is indeed a default replacement -- it's from the same set as the bedding I used, which comes in default and non-default flavors. The little alcove is very nice too. Although you know, technically you have four rooms with the shower walled off like that.

*Slaps Esme with a wet trout* Glad you like the purple, I do sometimes like to make bedrooms bold. Shame you don't have that set Esme, of the Maxis nursery items it's my favourite. See with the nursey wallpaper how it chops the head off the teddy bears? This is my one issue with EA's Apartment Life ceiling tiles. There are a number of wallpapers with an upper border which are made kind of useless by chopping the pictures in half.

With CC Due to my poorly placed stairs I had to not only use the same end of the house as the cc free one, but I had to add spiral stairs, so this is a parents retreat. Overhead of the sewing room where the spiral stairs goes to. Through the archway to get to the bedroom. This one has a bay window and comfy window seat. Ignore that bit of seat the roof covers it. The luxurious bathroom comes off the bedroom. spa bath. His and her basins

Nice room, Jo! I like the window seat, and the blue is very calming -- perfect for a retreat. And I want a spa bath like that for my own personal RL home!

Thanks Esme, I found that when I went hunting for a corner bath and used it in Tony's house (Tony Mobacy) as I figured he would have a spa bath. I guess I'm the last to post? I'll leave it open for one more day and close it tomorrow night.

Oooh, I love the sewing room and the very posh bathroom, that's lovely Jo. The spiral stairs fit really well, it feels more like a 'parents only' part of the house. Yep, I think everyone has posted now, so we should be good to go. ;D

Ok it's been another week and I'm just getting back in here! Lorin: I LOVE the color scheme in your no CC master suite! The whole thing looks like a sanctuary, not just the one alcove. I need a room like that now days! Esmei: Yours reminds me of one scene out of The Ugly Dachsund, where you see into the couple's bedroom and all the dogs are jumping onto the bed with Suzanne Pleshette! lol.. I do like the paintings by the dressers.. lots of neat CC in that one, like the stuff on his dresser. Amylu: If i didn't comment on yours before, I love your use of all the red.. looks like a very nice place to lie down, although with the all the shoes around and hair product on the bathroom shelves, it seems Mary-Sue has really taken that room over! Jo: Nice combo of the black and purple. The bed is most definitely game content, but the bedSPREAD and whatnot on it may not be. With the zebra-print painting, it looks like a place where a lot of naughty things happen ;D I like the shower you built, with the glass door. Fancy! I like the sewing nook and the usage of CC therein. My old Freshnfruitys had a ridiculously good time, between the pottery wheel and the sewing machine! Also, THAT is a huge-freaking spa tub! I was so elated when spiral staircases came out for the game, because of all the times I didn't have room for a regular one. Much usage of those in the old dollhouse I had!

modelmgmt: Yep, twin beds was the standard until "The Brady Bunch" -- and that was very daring! In "It Happened One Night" (highly recommended, BTW) Claudette Colbert and Clark Gable were in beds on opposite sides of the room, with thick curtain in between them, and Clark Gable still had to keep one foot on the floor the whole time.

Clark Gable must be very talented
