Yea... there's NO evil grin x-mas smileys that I can find. I'm very tempted to try to put a hat on that other one..lol Or.. Hey Mae... feel like practicing YOUR animation skills? Hehe...   Now I REALLY need that evil grin smiley! Hehe...  I'm glad you like the smiley's now. I thought those elves were sort of a cool touch. The snowmen sort of bug me though because of the bit of jagged white background showing. Those and the other set of Santas I had both had that problem. So do the stars, but like I said, there's not too many choices, especially if you want animated ones. I really like the animated best! ;D |

I'm not very good at it but I can try. I'll try it tomorrow. oh now I realise I think I forgot to tell you how to do it ... hehe so I'll try that tomorrow and tell you how to do it. gosh these past 3 weeks were crazy! I think I would have forgotten my own birthday haha

Hey that's cool! I really appreciate your trying to do it. There's no hurry though. Just whenever you get time. If neither one of us is able to make an animated one, I know I can steal a santa hat from one of the others and stick it on a non-animated one. The grinch one isn't animated anyway...lol I just REALLY miss my eyebrow-wiggling-evil-grin little guy over here. Hehe... |

LOL! This guy...  wearing a santa hat. Here's a hat if you don't have one...  Of course the hat is too big, but you know it's easy to make it smaller with layers. It would be SO cool if you can put the hat on him with his wiggling eyebrows.... hehe, but if it becomes too hard or annoying, that's okay. We can find a grinning devil smiley who's not animated and put a hat on him. Even I could do that...lol Thanks so much Mae! I truly appreciate you trying to do this for me!  |

Putting the hat is no problem. It's already done. But I don't understand why photoshop won't show me the animation? I thought it could open gif after all I can create one... I can only see the first frame.

Hmmm, well that bites. You should be able to see them all. Did you set it so that they are all visible? I know in mine you have to do that so it will show them.

set it? like I said we didn't really learn how to use it. the teacher showed us how to create one and not edit one.
when I tried to open it with photoshop it told me it couldn't open the gif. it could only show me the first frame.

On mine, there's this eyeball icon thingy beside each layer if it is visible. When you click on the layer, you can add the eyeball icon to make it visible. It's been a while since I tried to edit an animation so I can't quite remember the specifics. I just started clicking buttons to feel my way around...lol I have to go see a tv show soon so I don't have time right now to open it up and look, but I definitely will when the show is over at 9:00pm. |

Actually I decided to make them pause it and do it now..lol Here is how it looks when I open the devil in my photoshop:  See how it shows all the layers? Once you put the hat on him and save it, you have to pick 'save for web' or it will stop him from being animated and will take away the layers. That was the hardest part for me to figure out. If you can't get it to work, I will try to do it, but I don't know if the animations will mess up with the hat on or what... Hmmm. Maybe it's time for an experiment after my show is over... |
