BTW....I finished the outside Christmas lights today...Well..Almost...I have a few on the ground easy ones left....LOL
When completed I will post pictures....YEA Christmas is almost here....

My Christmas spirit pretty much died when my dad did right after Christmas ten years ago. As a matter of fact, this Jan 11th, will be the eleventh anniversary of his death.  I have struggled every year since then to be merry at this time of year. I always get there as the day gets closer though. *wistful smile* I just find it very hard to get into all the hustle and bustle, the crowds at the stores, the spending of money on stuff we don't really need. I do have fun and enjoy giving gifts and making people happy, but I'm just very slow for the spirit to grab me anymore. Don't worry. I'll get there .... eventually!  |
