Well, yesterday my mom had a meeting to attend so she left around mid morning. When she came back though, our birdies were quite aware she was home and started flying around like every time before.  Our oldest one though, Lemonade flew out the door before my mom could close it. We went outside to look for her, but our only neighbor witness said she just saw it go to the left. We searched for over an hour, and still no sign of our puffy bird.  She hasn't come home yet, and in the weather we've been having, my parents assume she wouldn't have made it long. Hmm...just thought I'd share.  In case anyone wanted to know.  |

That's sad, poor little fluffy birdy.
I hope that beyond the weather, that you can find him/her.

Maybe if you put the cage and food outside fluffy bird will come back......Fingers crossed that it does for you......

Thank you all!  I do hope fluffy bird comes back too. And, Harley, I dunno if putting her cage outside will help. But hey, maybe we'll attract some other birds.   |

I know. My mom's afraid now that she won't be coming back. So, we're all kinda just mellow about it. Though, my mom always used to take her everywhere with her, so she's really upset. We might be getting a new one to replace her though. |

Yep. She actually had her wings clipped, but since our other birdies didn't, she thought it'd be fair for Lemonade to grow her's out. But really, when you think about it, she may have left doing what other birds do. Experience the outdoors. |
