;D Do you enjoy building monstrous mansions for your lovely legacies? Enormous estates? Posh palaces? Or are your sims still lawn living? No matter the case, please, share with us your no-money-cheats building skillz! Here is the current (generation two) legacy I'm playing's lovely home in Bridgeport. (This might be in the wrong section of the new DD, so staff members, please move it to the correct section if needed. )

Lololol. The inside is still quite horridly decorated. Even with the founding couple's level ten salaries, they're not bringing in a whole lot of cash to decorate with.
And I have that stupid "Well Rested" mood bug, so they all have some of the most expensive beds. -_- Stupid EA.

Are you going to upload the house to share and post the link in this thread? If so, this is the correct place. Read the descriptions under the names of each forum. It's pretty simple really. If you are NOT going to share the house and are only posting pictures, then this thread should be in the photo gallery. BTW, very nice house, Sawyer!

Well, I got no answer, none of mods noticed or bothered to move this thread into its rightful place, so now I have fixed it. Sawyer PICTURES go into the photo gallery in TS3 board and into the photo shoot board when it's TS2. Only actual content is supposed be in the 'your creations' and 'creative corner' boards.

Oh, thanks Tina! I knew I'd screw it up the first time... I was kind of hoping somebody else was going to post pictures of their home... :?

I never made a legacy house, but Tina did something like one for the DD Homeless Simself Chllenge.

Is there criteria for a leagcy house, or do you just wing it & try to include as many bedrooms as possible?

That's an impressive house Sawyer. I've never done a legacy for sims 2

LOL... I never have done a legacy either, in either game, so the DDRRL will be my first! Actually that house I did for the DD Homeless Simselves Challenge was a remake of an EA house that's already in the bin of the TS3 base game. They made it 'super', I merely added the 'duper'.

Ah, that's right. I remember now. I used copies of that to put all my simselves in, because I grouped them in large numbers before I started pairing them off. Of course, I lost all of that now, so I'll have to re-collect s3 simselves & houses to put them all in again.

Nice house Sawyer! I haven't really gotten into building in TS3 I usually find a house they can afford and stick them in it and redesign as I need. I have one house I moved my Explorer in that I changed NOTHING I left it how Eaxis decorated it.

Jilly, there isn't any exact criteria as such but most people want to end up with at least two master bedrooms (One for the current couple and one for the elders) With enough bedrooms for the coming generation and lots of bathrooms! Then you need room for the things that accumulate such as career rewards or those extra large items sims want that you can afford as time goes on such as a pool table. People who do free roaming ghosts have either a cemetery or a mausoleum as well. I have two legacy main legacy houses, one for TS2 and one for TS3. I do have some of my TS2 legacy houses pictures up on the board someplace.

By legacy house, I meant post a house that your legacy lives in...built with no money cheats. They become labors of love because of the amount of time that goes into them. Jo, I love your Mobacy house! Al Capone all the way, man.
