LOL you and the bad ones  Karver has a quiet cool that tends to become aggressive if pressed…which never takes much. He’ll have what he wants and refuses to ask twice. He’ll come across as “Classy” but he has an element of “street” when he feels his words are not being heeded. He is a bit of a womanizer though his charms are more along the lines of “scary bad boy” for Zoe. Chris’ connection to the redhead will be better explained soon and we’ll see exactly why there is no fear there. Vincent is starting to care for Sarah again. He once considered her a friend before they slept together, then to him she became a play thing. After the whole thing with Vanessa and him wanting to kill her he saw the error of his ways thanks to Drake and Zoe and for Ness’s sake, he thought he should at least try and have a working relationship with her. Knowing Karver’s background he was indeed anxious to remove them from his presence. The “Vinny” slip lol Zoe never had her memories or emotions erased or set back. They are still lurking beneath the surface and I guess the same can be said for Vincent, but she’d never allow them to go there again. She just made a small gesture of affection towards his pet name when playing with Vanessa like she used to. It brought back flashbacks as Vincent pointed out. He liked it. He loves when she uses that name with him mainly because she was the first and only to do so and also because it was a great time for him as well. He recognized it for what it was though, a slip of the tongue and not her making googly eyes, so he didn’t pounce. Drake is like a dog in heat! He wants his wife in every position at every moment of the day but it’s not likely to happen. They have a pretty hectic life right now and with Chris being in the same room, he knows he is most likely not going to have his way. He won’t push the subject though because he knows Zoe isn’t on the same page as far as where Chris is in strength and his capabilities to protect himself. LOL @ Sexy Fire thing…the heat is on LOL Yeah you hope Zoe is in the hands of the “devil” rather than in the hands of the demons I’d say it’s a little crazy but I completely understand. Karver has said he wasn’t out to harm them…yet. |

Jilly Get ready Haters, but I don't think Vincent would've made that decision - either decision! Just sayin... I agree with you 100% on that. Vincent and Drake have two different ways of thinking and two different views on life. Vincent was used to being alone and happy with the idea. Drake as always wanted kids and a family. Vincent would have stayed in the pit than to make a deal over his child, Drake saw his chance to get back to his wife and be a father and took it. He was wrong for that and I understand Zoe's anger over it because I'd be pissed too and please believe his balls would be blue if that were me. But I do see his view of it. Daijah

You ladies are both absolutely correct! Vincent wouldn’t be inclined to making deals with someone. As Qui said he’s used to the “loner”, that’s his nature of things. And while he’d probably lose sleep over not being with Zoe or his child, he wouldn’t have the guts to push that kind of pain onto her. He’s said that before, he’d die first before causing her misery. We’ll see Vincent’s reaction to this whole mess in Chapter 8.
Drake’s love for Zoe and the knowledge of a baby he’s dreamed of his entire life forced his hand and he took his chance to be with them. He also knew that leaving them unprotected and in the clutches of Zavier or any other monster that dared come after her was not something he’d ever want to live with. He sold his soul to Zavier once in a promise to look after the Vales, he wasn’t about to start failing them now and his drive was powered even more so by a little Steele on the way.
Drake isn’t trying to seem callous about what he’s done by his sex drive; he just wants to be with his wife. He knows she doesn’t see things concerning Chris the same way so while he won’t hump her leg, he’ll take what opportunities he can to have her.
Zoe is following in the words her mother last left her with, “Trust in the man that’s guided and protected you your entire life, he knows what he’s doing.” So she won’t let her emotions boil over too much, she is listening and believing in the man she married and hoping that she won’t regret it. With the ability to now access her source completely, she knows if things get out of hand, she can deal with it.

Whoa, the devil finally shows himself!
Interesting how Drake keeps opening these doors and brings these creatures home. Poor Zoe, caught up in yet another deal she didn't make. The things we do for love. This is Zavier all over again, but only this time, it's much worse because there's a child involved, demon or otherwise.
I've never seen Vincent so shaken, so I guess Karver really is worse than Zavier.
I hope Zoe and CJ are fine, and they don't come to harm. And hopefully Drake's okay too, and he stops the fire thing before it consumes him.

Drake has no idea the amount of demons he’s unleashed with his deal with Karver. The reasons behind their undying lust for CJ and Zoe revealing soon, he’ll come to regret part of what he’s done but not all of it because he believed there was a greater good in it all. Karver is Zavier times ten and what Karver has in store for everyone won’t be anything any one of them ever expected.
You’re right, Vincent has never seemed as afraid of anyone as he is of Karver and the things he knows he is capable of. He had to immediately get his family out of the area to avoid any badness coming their way.
Juju on Drake’s powers. He can’t help but use them now; he has become very dependent on his demon abilities forgetting completely the strength he possesses as a vampire. He’ll soon find the consequences of the use of those magics not at all what he’d hoped!

okay that thing jumping at drake is crazy!! drake and zoe have got to be tired of death and killing. lol every day they--well drake, is having to rip some heads off, break some backs, and a little bit of limb tearing. lol
those two deserve a vacation!
how amazing is that! cj has such a powerful connection with his parents and even though he can't talk he will kill a hoe for him!
thats also kinda scary at the same time. with him being so young if something bad really were to happen to his parents theres no telling the damage he would put out on any and every one. i kinda wanna see something like that happening tho!
aww sam! its been a while since we've seen her. the short cut is cute on her.
geez, way to ruin the show by beating the lady up and skinning someones head o.o

You couldn't be more right! Zoe for one hates the constant struggle to keep one step ahead of the ghoulish fiends continuously after her and her family. She made the decision a while ago though to do as needed and stay as a vampire to defend hers knowing that there would be times needed, never did she anticipate so much! LOL @ kill a hoe! CJ is definitely going to make sure his Mom and Dad are safe, especially Mom since he knows Daddy would approve. So you are rooting for a stone cold, merciless killer in CJ? That may happen without a major tragedy such as the death of one of his parents though. We still haven't seen exactly WHAT Karver has in store for the child and what traits this demon seed is blossoming into! I love the new hair on her too! It kind of gives her an edge considering the rock band she's in. LOL demons are rarely considerate creatures. Their brutal and savage nature prevents them being able to consider anything past their next meal or kill. The faceless monster in the window? Yeah majorly creepy! We'll see more of these types of creatures though!  |

Man, that was some action!
Nice to meet Karver (why does evil always have such a pretty face? Your Devil in a Sunday hat! Lol!)
Sam - it's good to see things working out for her after that mess with Gabriel. She looks great and happy. I had to laugh at Zoe dragging CJ into a bar for all those performances. There's a scene in the movie Sweet Home ALabama where Reese Witherspoon moves to the big city & comes home to her small town to see her friend and she says, "Oh! You have a baby! In a bar!" I don't blame Zoe a bit, with everything going on, that baby would never leave my side, either! It just made me laugh to remember that movie.
Great to see my beloved Vinny again, and he and Sarah looked happy together! (I saw the prev. spoilers on that topic - interesting!!!)
These demons are getting stronger and smarter - Karver, Drake, SOMEONE needs to find out why they're coming & how to stop them!
Loved how CJ tossed Karver - very telling that he has the power to do so!
Now hurry up and post again so we can see who has Zoe and CJ!!!!

LOL You sound like Qui I don't think I could make a horrible looking bad guy ALTHOUGH Karver can become every evil, demonic creature in his stable! HAHA I was thinking about that moment when Zoe had CJ in the bar also!!!!! HAHA! But I couldn't very well leave him home HAHA nice! With everything happening she's not letting him out of her sight...if she can help it. Yep! Indeed Vincent and Sarah have repaired their relationship but will it go further than just friends? Brad IS still waiting in the wings! The demons will only get worse before it gets better! C team, B team, A TEAM! Karver has insight but won't share until he is ready to so until then, Zoe, Drake and CJ will just have to keep fighting for their lives! LOL CJ doesn't play when it comes to his Mommy! Karver knew he was learning and this was a great way to test CJ's abilities. He was pleased with what he got thus far, but how was CJ able to toss the creator of all things evil? |

karver may be a baddie, but i have to agree with the others and say he is a sexy baddie! he scares me though =\ and i dont like him!
he's a sneaky devil (pun intended) so rather then throwing away the deal he's gonna keep it. i know zoe has got to be kicking herself after being told that her using magic while pregnant gave karver power to cross over.
if he isnt sending the demons who is??? could it be lilly in an attempt to get back at drake for leaving???
vinny boy...i like him now that the love sick puppy attitude is gone. lol i can see him working things out with sara. that would be awesome! he sure booked after learning karver was there.
le sigh..another night another attack! lol
who WHO could be so insane and snatch up drakes family!? something tells me karver is right about the corner.

LOL It's ok, so many attacks so many different monsters! LOL intimidating but sexy He's a man of his word, there was no need to go back on a deal that was working. He'll give Drake the chance his promised but he also expects that he'll get what he's after. Zoe is indeed regretting having not listened to Drake. Alot of the blowback is coming down on poor little Chris so she absolutely is hating herself over it. Though Karver has been able to cross realms, there are still some things he is unable to do, one of the reasons baby CJ was able to toss him so easily. Close. We'll find out who is sending the demons very soon. He and Sarah will become better adjusted, but he still doesn't have romantic feelings for her. But who knows what will develop.
