Hmm, good question. I don't know, you can remove it and make it te default 3rd darkest skintone. Witc is wat I used to use before I got sims literate and found a skintone tat came close to ME...

Hmmm, Pixx's skin doesn't disappear in my game either. How strange...  Maybe there's another skin/mesh or something in your game Jo, that makes Pixx disappear. |

She only disapears when taking a bath or a shower, then all I have is her head. I'll have to take a photo and add it to an LJ update. |

I have a sim that does the same thing. I wish they'd let you change the skintone after creation so you could fix things like that without killing the sim & starting over. She's fine everywhere except in a shower or bath. Then she's just a floating head. She's already made friends with eveyone, so I don't want to kill her off. (I'm guessing it was the skintone, but I really don't know.)

There is a way to do it in SimPE. I think if you do sim surgery, you can change a sims skin tone. It is screwed up how a skin can do that. It has to be either because of a mesh or because something else is overwriting the nude skin. A search on MTS2 or something may reveal some answers. I just may have to do that out of curiosity one day. I KNOW I will if it ever happens to me.  |
