I never did leave a proper comment for you, Jo! But since everyone else mentioned the same stuff I would, I don't have anything to add! I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this - as usual, you manage to mix touching and funny together and leave us wanting more! The kids grew up SO adorable, and it was clever to use Grandma Tina as a story teller!
I did want to mention the new "mascot" - he was a hoot! Since I peeked at the spoiler, I know it looks like there's going to have to be some teamwork! Or...maybe some competition! Lol! OK - I think that was the only thing I didn't already see mentioned!

I wanted to know about your simself. I put green contacts in, in game. I couldn't remember the eye colour, but I'm sure it isn't brown like in that picture! I may have to kill that one off and remake you.

Thanks Amylu, I saw that.  I'll leave you a comment back in the morning. Hope the chapter wasn't too fast going from Rolly as toddler to teen? That's the only reason I have overtaken yours. But those were pretty much most of the pictures up to that point and I thought it was long enough. I guess I could have held the poll after the teen chapter which may be short, but I was wanting to know who would be the next heir. |

It's a good idea to do the poll now, and it wasn't too fast, it all flowed well and the storytelling at the beginning worked great to bring us all up to speed.
I left my reply about the BC, by the way - count me in! ;D

I replied back on the poll thread, you have the sixth spot Amylu. ;D I think I am getting many of the same contestants from Blyth's BC, which is kind of funny/weird but understandable.  I'm glad you thought it wasn't too fast and it flowed well. I was worried I may not have said enough about the kids for voting; which is why I did that little summery on each of them. |

Copied over from bp: ;D Heh, love mine and Shadey's faces at the clubhouse, my simself does have some familiar expressions, I was pulling that decision making face in the supermarket today.
I also loved the faces of the gnome stealer backers, and Chewy shooing off the girl trying to steal the gnome. You tell 'em Chewy! And bless Chewy and Opal cuddling every five minutes; in the road, on the desert, on the porch during Peach's date. Bless the parents, there's no such thing as a PDA.
Opal and Chewy aged pretty well, Laura got Chewy's slanted eyes, scary looking when she went to fetch the gnome back. I still think Peach is awesome, and the red suits her, she grew up really pretty.
And finally; Rolley. I'm so excited for this BC, he's such a fun bad apple, and he grew up rather nicely, despite the plaid. You're catching me up again, you're only about a sim week behind me now!
Loved Rolley cleaning up the puddle in the middle of the night and cooking all that grilled cheese, I dread to think what my simself would get up to on semi-freewill if she won!
Great chapter and lovely to see the Wonglepongs again Jo. And something I forgot to put on bp: Norm!!!!!!! |

Glad you're getting your base game points back jo! never give up hope that the gnome will be rescued ;D So much fun stuff. It shows that you enjoy those businesses. I could care less, as you know.
Aw! Poor Chewy after the fire. I am sure he was just cranky and that's why he picked fights with all those townie teens.

This was so funny! The simselves always pull such great faces, and I oved the gnome rivalry!
Laura's new hair makes her look so much better, but all the kids aged up really well.
Fun to see Tina & Bazz still around - funny when she scared away the Newsome! Lol!
Opal and Chewy = cutest couple EVER!
Love that last shot of the "birthday suit"!

Gosh sorry to be so slow getting here to comment back, I always seem to be running late on things these days.  Karima Good onya mate for reading it! The BC is sure turning out to be rip-snorter for sure! Qui Thanks Qui! Opal and Chewy are very cute couple. She only had three simself males to choose from if you didn't see her very short BC. She picked the right one! Amylu: Thanks for commenting here as well as BP. Holley: I think you replied on BP too? Yes I do enjoy those businesses. I think you mean Rolley. Well I haven't checked his stats yet, I'll have to look over the BP thread, because I think I can now. But I did accidently see some when he was a toddler and I think he's fairly mean and outgoing like Laura. Now that Opal and Chewy have completed all their set challenges they will have even more time to be off stalking each other. Jilly Those gnomes are too easy to write. I can hear them arguing! Glad you like her new hair, she is the prettier of the two girls. Peach has funny eyes if she takes her glasses off. Tina did the boo at Peach just as Peach was doing 'scope room' to try and roll up some more date wants. I know! They are so very stalky for a two bolt couple. Hard to believe they had only one to start with and Chewy showed no interest on Opal's BC for the whole of the first day. Thanks everyone. |
