I know what you mean. I hate it when I've taken a screen shot and then notice they're still wearing outerwear, etc. Ack!

Don't worry. You didn't push me into reading it. I fully intended to this morning, but first we ran out to get a new keyboard for me to fix my broken 'S', then my computer came... still broken! So I had a round on the phone with the jerks that can't seem to build a solid computer that continues to work right...lol. Then it sort of slipped my mind until your 'oh so gentle' reminder...

Lol yeah, I just wish some of my other readers would notice it! It's nearly tempting me to put a thread up on the bbs..but not quite.
Hope you get your computer fixed up. We have been going back and forth with hubies rented lap top for about 9 months now, but whats worse he uses it for our buisness. Nearly ready to go and strangle those guys at "Hardly Normal" (Harvey Norman)

Two replied on the other board. I don't really like to ask...but can you post over at Boolprop? I really want to keep that as the main thread. Seems like everyone is all over the place now it's sad. I miss my long bbs chat threads.

Sure Jo! I'll be happy to pop over there in a little while and post in your thread. It's really easy to get there through your siggy! I was planning to do that for you anyway, eventually.

That's why I made this place; so we could have chats here about things and not have to worry about some jerk deciding to 'knock our stories off the charts'! *sigh* Maybe one day, more of 'the gang' will pop over and start chatting.

I really miss being able to advertise there too. *sigh* Some folks just have too much fun ruining things for everyone else ....

I'm glad it feels that way for you Jo. That's the atmosphere I was going for!

Once upon a time I was a message board junkie. Then I gave it up, for some reason, for a couple of years. When I started posting more on the BBS story board, it sort of got me back into the 'groove' and then disaster struck with that downrating business. *sigh* So I decided to give this thing a shot and see if it flies...lol So far, so good I think. Of course even at the BBS, you have not go too far off-topic or a SimMaster will get after you! Although they seem to not pay as close attention in the story forum, maybe because it's not as busy as general is.

Oh yeah I wouldn't have tried a long off topic thread on the general board, but both the story board and the challenge board seemed lke safe places...well safe from mod sticks not those downraters.

I am starting to think I will have to make a thread there because hardly anyone seems to be seeing this chapter.

You could do what I did on my last chapter: make a general message announcing the chapter and then paste it into everyone's GB who's been following it. It takes a little time, but it gets the message out there without opening yourself up for down raters.

I go and look at that board once in a while and since we've stopped posting there, there seems to be a whole large influx of people I've never seen before. Maybe some of those are the down rating maniacs and now that they've chased us away, they've decided to start posting... LOL Heck if I know for sure, but I do find it a bit odd...

I havn't checked the boards there for awhile, I should go take a look. Somehow I didn't think the downrater/s was someone who wrote stories. yes I might go through my blog and see who all has signed and gb them back....those that remove signings. I did one time try to gb someone who had asked me too and they hadn't removed my first one. Stupid system I don't know of any other board that doesn't have a proper pm in place.

I know it... I guess they do that to help protect the little kids from predators or something.

I sort of believe the down rater(s) is someone who DOES write stories and got jealous of the 'regulars' who advertise there and have regular readers who helped to raise ratings, etc. But, who knows? It more than likely isn't just one person. It's likely a group of people who decided to get together and make others' miserable and to wreak havoc on people who never did a thing to deserve it. Whatever the deal is, it just isn't right and proves the rating system at the exchange sucks.

Great chapter, JO! I gotta tell ya, I love those zombies! Who would've thought they would have so much character? And Tina getting zapped was hysterical!!! Thanks for posting in my GB - I've been checking here, but haven't lately, cuz I'm trying to work on my own! I try to pop in & keep in the loop, but I haven't been spending as much time here as I'd like! So thanks for the heads up! 5 stars of course! (and while I'm at it, I exhault you!) Maybe one of the kids can grow up & become a plastic surgeon, and fix the "family" nose! lol Oooh, Ashley, you're gonna get it now!

Those zombies have sure grown on me. They will be up to plenty of tricks in the future too.

From what I can tell, exhault is like giving you benes on the bbs - it makes your karma go up. From that, I'd assume Smite would lower your Karma. I just like the sound of them - "I exhault you!" Makes me feel so powerful! Lol! You can reach me here, which is the first place I check, or back in the gb, which is the 2nd. You can email, but I don't check that as often as I should! Mr.Ashley has some big time pay back coming his way! Looks like HIS Karma's coming to bite him in the butt!

Yes. You are right about the Karma thing, Jilly! It doesn't really mean anything, but it is fun to exalt someone you feel deserves it. lol

See Jo? Guestbooking everyone workd pretty well, didn't it? Speaking of email, Jilly ... I hope you got that last one I sent when I answered your question about your computer that only had expansions up to before sucUrom installed. I haven't heard back yet so I didn't know if you actually got mine.
