~ I was just visiting my Sims3 page,& there is a warning there to check for a 'Girl Doll Dressed!'So I went to my game to check for the file in my game, & horror it was there! ~ To delete file, which is infecting everything on the Exchange,go to: My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims3/DC backup (and look for this file) 0x038a68fe04da61a6aa65f939d77fbc37.
~PS~ My system runs XP.
EDITED: to fix incorrect spelling!Still no spell check!

Whoa, I saw this on MTS but didn't pay attention to it since I don't download much stuff from TSR but I'll be checking my folder as soon as I'm home. So what does it do exactly?

Apparently it is like a virus & attaches it self to your downloads & uploads,I found I had some foreign CC in CAS so I knew something was not right, this Doll had attached these unwanted things to my game & yes they were from TSR(I looked,& that's were they originate from!)I downloaded a Simbot! So lipstick & cloths should not had come with him! But they did! ~PS~ Sorry about my spelling, I can not get Spell Check to work,I keep getting an error message!

Yes, there was a post on Boolprop about this. I should have thought to post it here, but all I thought of was, ahhh I have that doll! Well I did, I have ridded myself of it since I saw the post.

I bet I have it, too. When I was playing my latest set of toddlers & was looking for toys for their room, I saw a doll in the catalog that I didn't download. (well, not intentionally) The only reason it caught my eye was that it had that plumbbob icon, as if it were an "approved" EA download - like the stuff from TSR has.
I'm on my laptop now, so I'll have to get it out of my S3 computer when I get home tonight after work.
Thanks, Karima!

Wow, this is interestng. I know I don't have it because I haven't reinstalled my game yet...lol, but does anyone have some links to the threads on the subject? I'd love to read more about it.
I've heard some bad things about TSR, and it doesn't surprise me that something like that comes from there.

...Maybe I'm weird but I found this kinda funny. It's like the Mr. Mickles doll in sims 2, like how it lets you control other sims, this doll in Sims 3 just takes over and controls your system... bizarre!

That is why I had to go into 'DC backup' to delete the file, that is the code for the doll that is infecting peoples systems!(I had already deleted the package called 'Girl Doll Dressed' from my Mods/Package folder!) ~ This is from Sims3 ~ Before installing this game update, you must check for corrupt content that may be slowing down your game. Follow these steps to remove the content before installing the game update: •If you have an object called "Girl Doll Dressed" in the Installed Content in your Launcher, please uninstall it. •To delete the file: 0x038a68fe04da61a6aa65f939d77fbc37.package, go into your DCBackups (C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup), find the file and delete it. •If you had that file in your C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup folder, this may have attached itself to your exports. If you had that file and recently exported content to your Launcher, delete that content from your Export folder and your Launcher. ~ Also I will look for the stuff at MTS,But later, now I am very sleepy! I Still can not get Spell Checker to work, so sorry about my spelling!

Wow, this is some interesting stuff! I haven't read the boolprop thread yet, Jo, because I'm getting ready to go out, but I will definitely check it out when I get back on line.
