You can count me as a half-member of Team Ho Sung! I'm still hoping he has a super-good reason for what he did! But Youssef...*sigh

LOL... well, he does have a very good reason indeed. I've been playing the game a lot today because I just couldn't get my mind on anything else. Now I know more about where Nellie's adventures are going to take the story, and that will go a long way to helping the storyline take direction. I'm actually having a blast with this. It's fun to give the sims actual personalities, etc that you don't really get while just playing normally. It's like a big old game of make believe!

LOL! You didn't answer my question about how you've figured the chemistry between Nellie and Frenchman. Plus... you must have a reason for not liking the guy. I'm bored so... discuss! ;D Oh? I didn't realize Zhan was in the running, but since he is I'll join Team Zhan anytime. But, am I missing something here? Zhan and Nellie are still friends right and over the chapters I don't remember Zhan looking at Nellie in a more than just friends way or fantasazing about her. So why is there a Team Zhan again? Well the chemistry bit- Let's start with Ho Sung. It was there (as much as I don't like to admit), he was her first and all and she had a great first time. Awesome. Yousef-no sizzling scenes and not that much hint that she thinks of him in that kind of way. Admittedly she likes spending time with him and I think she likes the way he makes her feel safe. With Youseff, she appears to be more comfortable possibily because of the safety bit. Their scenes as well when they connect, they're not laden with underlying sexual tension, etc. Now, with Gustav-from the moment he met her, she felt something. She found him attractive and perhaps his blatant attraction to her scared her a bit or put her off slightly but she did not write him off immediately or pen him down as a creep. Instead on some occassions she found herself thinking more and more about him and her thoughts were not the purest either When it got down to it, the scene between Nellie and Gustav was just sizzling. I think the way you wrote that scene, your choice of words, etc seemed to hint at a deeper physical connection than the other two. Her body reacts to Gustav instinctively, even though her emotions belong to Ho Sung. Gustav seemed to make her want tear off her clothes and as much as Ho Sung was her first and Yousef is her safe harbor, Gustav keeps her on her toes and the passion between them is undeniable. Now, Ho Sung. 1. I think he's a coward for walkin out on Nellie, without so much as a good bye. He should not have started something he knew he couldn't handle or finish. He had no business messing with Nellie when he knew he was married. I don't care how drawn he was to her, or how much he loves her, he's married and should not have been fooling around with her. 2. The dissappearing act in China was just not on as well. I know he was confused, had to find himself, etc but again, at least give poor Nellie some indication as to what's going on in his life instead of leaving her an emotional wreck 3. Never mind he cheated on his wife, but lying to Nellie or concealing the truth from her about his marital status was not right too. He technically duped her. When he jumped into bed with her, he knew exactly what he was doing, but Nellie didn't and I think Nellie being the decent young woman she is, would not have had any of that. Ho Sung wants his cake and eats it. Like now, he's back and he's suddenly had an epiphany and wants Nellie back, never mind that stuff might have happened in Nellie's life and changed everything. Now Gustav- Everyone thinks he's a creep but I think he's just literally enthusiastic about his feelings for Nellie. He never said he loved her or lied to her and he's made his intentions about wanting Nellie clear from the word go. He wants her physically and what's wrong with that? Fine, he lied to Zhan, destroyed his cell phone, but what's wrong with buying yourself a little insurance? He wanted to spend time with Nellie and so he came up with a plan that ensured him alone time with her. Too bad Zhan was duped, but he did not hurt anyone. If Gustav was as vile as everyone makes him out to be, I think that scene with him and Nellie would have ended tragically, but when she stopped him and didn't want to continue he didn't push her, or force his way. As much as he was disappointed that he didn't get to have his way with Nellie, he did the decent thing and let her go and that in my book is honorable. With his enthusiasm I think Gustav would go to the ends of the world to make Nellie happy and on more than one occassion he's admitted to himself that he wants Nellie to be more than his past relationships had been, which could hint at a possible commitment. But I think you've written your scenes with Gustav so craftily that whatever he says is laden with ambuigity. Like him wanting his relationship with Nellie to be different could mean he wants commitment or if he is the creep that everyone thinks he is then it's possible that all his 'others' possibly got away and Nellie will not have such luck. I haven't read chapter sixteen and I'll comment on that as soon as I do.

;D I still stand by my decision, I don't trust French fry! not after his house mate said those things about his past relationships! & what he did to Zhan, yes he did let her go, that night, but his irrational out burst & what he thought after wards! does not sit well at all! I trust Youssef, more than Gustave, & I have already said he seems too good to be true! ;D So I am still for team Ho Sung!

I'm hoping Ho Sung's good reason is in Chapter Sixteen. Then maybe I'll reconsider my position with him

Thanks, Val, for the elaboration on your feelings! Everyone is speculating at this point, so someone just tossed a Team Zhan out there, and there it is! Karima is very perceptive and just happened to figure out some things about Ho Sung's situation. Trust me when I say I did not tell her a thing . . . except to keep it hush-hush once she figured it out. lol Poor Ho Sung (I keep wanting to type So Hung... ) will have to remain misunderstood for awhile longer because the answer is not revealed in Chapter 16, unfortunately. It will be awhile yet for that.

@tina, thanks for putting my vent behind a spoiler I totally forgot and when I went back to do it now, I saw you'd already done it ;D Well, it's still not fair that Karima is so perceptive...not fair at all Read chapter sixteen and commented on LJ. Now, to everyone who keeps saying Gustav is a creep, how about you look at the relic merchant? Now he's a CREEP! I think the Pyramid of the Sky is my fav in Egypt. I love the color and vegetation in there. Loved the chapter as always. Still no word on the Ho Sung mystery I see. I eagerly await it.
I knew something was fishy about that smooth operator Youseff. Either he's a good actor or a really good actor. How can he not know what his company is up to? I can't wait to see the way this one turns out.
I'm still Team Gustav all the way baby. Maybe Team Zhan too :-)

;D I already said, I think there is something fishy about Youssef,(& I'm not talking about his favorite hobby, Fishing!) as he seems too good to be true, the fact that he is one of the richest & most eligible bachelors around, that in no way hurts your eyes! is strange in it's self! But being the head of a mysterious company, is very worrying, for our dear Nellie!
