I must say that your prologue is quite sad and depressing. *sniff* I agree with Jill about her mom's boyfriend just leaving her alone that way. How rotten of him!

This story is definitely filled with a lot action, with all the teenaged sex and pregnacy happening. That sort of thing is not allowed on the exchange. It says so right in the rules, although it seems not many folks bother to read them. You will be lucky if no one reports them because they will be removed, which would suck for you.

On a good note, I do agree that you have some really pretty simmies there.

That's one of the reasons why folks now prefer using LJ and other sites to post their stories-EA's many rules. I've seen worse on the exchange actually. Not that I'm all for teenage sex and pregnancy but let's face it this stuff does happen.

@katieloo, perhaps you could look into posting your stories on LJ if you did get suspended on the EX ;D

You are most definitely correct that this stuff does happen, but... when this stuff is written by thirteen/fourteen year olds in sims form on the Exchange, it tends to get 'romanticized' too much. Like in this story, yes the girl is having a rough life, but it's not very realistic for a sixteen-year-old to just be left by herself after her only parent dies from cancer AND be dumped by her boyfriend at the same time.

Then she goes on to find her real father, which isn't that easy either. The thing is, the girl comes across to me as a bit of a slut as well. Next, she is having sex with her new 'step brother' and then we find out she had a baby with her previous boyfriend. The next thing we know, there is a THIRD guy she is interested in.

Its all very 'romantic' and sort of sweet...blah, blah, blah... That would not likely be the case in real life. It happens, yes, but it's generally NOT very pretty and leads to major life changes and it ends of crap, not happy reunions, etc.

I see why the exchange has those rules. There are youngsters on there who could easily be influenced by all that happy crappy, which would not be a good thing.

You are also right in the fact that there are WAY worse stories on the exchange that are not nearly as well-written as this one. I've seen some plain nasty stories there with teens actually seducing adults, etc. If those idiots there would keep a better eye on their site, this sort of thing would not happen so often.

I see nothing wrong with telling a story of a teen pregnancy OFF the exchange where it breaks rules, BUT if you are going to tell a story like that, it should be told in a more realistic fashion, so as not to encourage impressionable teens to go out and give it go.

;D THE SIMS 2 EX PLAINLY SAYS, IT IS NOT MONITORING THIS SITE ANY MORE! that is why these things are appearing on the S2 EX!






~PS~ I found out first hand by complaining about an X-rated Story (I would not call it a story!)Which had full frontal nudity & the male had bits, that did not come with the game!After complaining I received a message back, telling me that the ESRB is not monitoring this site anymore & if any content offends me to press the button at the bottom of the page!
