Hi everyone! *waves* I'm Nicole. I'm 16 but have been told I act older than that. I live in Canada... I have 3 pets, 11 year old rabbit, 2-3 year old cat (I can't remember) and a 10 year old dog. They amuse me more then I thought was possible. I've got a brother who's got a list of medical problems, scoliosis (sp), cerebral palsy, blind, deaf, and he's got a hole in his brain. But he's the best person ever (usually) and he was in University for two years. My parents are older, and let me sit on my comp all day.  And uh... My hobbies include: Knitting, crocheting, working on vehicles, welding, reading, simming, watching tv and sleeping. I do write a legacy in which I'm almost done (getting ready to move onto generation 9!) and I haven't got it posted yet, but it's The Recessives Legacy. You won't find it by that name on the exchange or LJ, in that case, just look for my username, GarnetPly, and then PM me about the LJ chapters. Lol. Do I win an award for a long introduction? (Kidding!) Oh yeah! I found this site because of Jessie (LeapsBarnes) who found it through Jo, through Tina. Alright, understand that?  |

You get an award for merely posting a thread! I exalt you!  Only a handful of members here have posted one so I get very happy when I see someone has. Thank you, Nicole! Well you have a nice, diversified set of hobbies there. Some of them are WAY more interesting than mine. Except for taking trips on the Harley, that is! It's really great to have you here and I'm glad you decided to sign up! I think Jessie deserves an award too for directing you here. |

Hah, Jessie. Speaking in third person is downright hilarous. Seriously, I had a conversation with one of my friends like that for a couple hours, try it with Nick sometime... Five ways?  That's a LOT! Well then, I'd say you're doing very well for that then! That's one of the problems with these forums. Someone will start one, then someone there will feel the need to start their own. Then some of the people at the first one join the second one. Then everyone tries to post to each one and before you know it, some or most just die because no one has time to post anymore. I only started this one because I belonged to one like it because I was asked to be co-admin there and the next thing I knew, the owner just sort of petered out on me and stopped visiting her own site. My mod powers were supposedly accidently stripped and she couldn't figure out how to fix them. I began to wonder just exactly how darned hard was it anyway? So, I started this one and found out that it isn't rocket science so I'm still clueless as to what the problem was over there.  The other place was eventually deleted, I guess because she gave up on it. Ah well, I just wanted a nice place for a few people to hang out, chat, and enjoy each other's company while having a place to post links to their stories to hopefully attract a few more readers. I guess I've accomplished that. At least so far, so good. |
