Nicole is really cute and I love Victoria as a ghost busting granny!

Your computer shut down? Mine use to do that. Although the game played ok and sims 2 ran, it would shut down in Sims 3 CAS. Turned out my power source fan wasn't turning fast enough, it was dying. A new power source and fan fixed it up.

Jo, thanks for that. I'll take any advice I can get. We thought it might be a RAM problem but DH got me more, so maybe we'll look into the power supply and the fan

I got to play for all of five minutes before it shut down again. This time the fan was working just fine. So I guess it's the power supply then

Karima, find those pics. I can't to see Dolly and yeah Jill, I have both on the same PC. Could that be the problem DH will never let me install my games on his PC

;D Oh,Val,....that is why I bought my second hand PC,so I can put all my Sims2 on it, & then just have My Sims3 on this one,but with me,doing CC for Sims 2 or making Sims, cloths,Skins & buildings for S2,I still have it on here, & my Sims 3 game would work so much better without my Sims 2 on it! (what 17 Ep's & Sp's & ALL that CC!)
~ Val,while playing Sims3, I take my downloads folder out of Sims 2! I know,it sounds crazy,but it sitting on my desktop,the Sims3 game does actually load quicker!go figure!

Damn, I'll try taking out the sims 2 downloads out when I play.

I have two hard drives on my PC, would it help if I were to install sims 3 on one drive and sims 2 on the other?

~ I have a Tera bit of internal hard drive & two 320 GB external hard drives,one labeled Sims 2 the other Sims3(I had to get a bigger power pack to support my bigger hard drive!POWER is very important & cooling!)
