Well, here's an update: It turns out the death and ghost guide I got from the Sims3 Forum was wrong. After the death of Mortimer and Jasper's parents, it was Mortimer who got the call to bring a tombstone to the science lab. Mortimer brought Lolita's, and she became a playable member of the household. It didn't take long for Jasper to pop the question. I had them wait until they were married, because it seemed like something she would do. As you can tell, Jasper was very glad his wait was finally over! The wedding took place in the family's cemetery at night, so all the dead relatives could attend: And they did: And shortly after the kiss: There was some drama of another sort. First, we had Creepy Benji Newsome come crashing thru all grown up: Then Bella had a crasher of another sort: As you can see, everyone was completely taken with baby Cassandra, and could think of nothing else: OK, well, they thought of SOMETHING else... And before long, we have a bump! But this mama isn't about to do the old spin & twirl at home. As soon as we get this face: She bolts for the door & hops in the car, poor Jasper scrambling to follow: And because she had a wish to have a baby girl, I fed her endless watermelon, and Neela was born. (named as a nickname of Cornilia, her Grandma) And that's Josh Newsome all grown up standing behind her. Those kids are everywhere! Here's Grandma Cornilia (also playable) helping Cassie skill: And a final pic of the girls playing together, Neela and Cassie: I'm very close to having the skills that I need maxed to make ambrosia to bring Lolita back from the dead, and we'll need some boy babies in this family soon, so stay posted! (You KNOW I gotta keep trying until I have a ghost baby!)

You and those supernatural creatures! ;D VERY nice, Jill! I am enoying seeing your story because, chances are, I'll never mess with ghosts that way. I still find the way that ghosts are done in this game rather stupid...lol. Ghosts are DEAD people! They don't have the ability to do all these things, but... I do find it interesting to read about. I think I'm going to move this thread into the photo forum now, since it's mainly a picture thread.

Right you are! I didn't think it would turn out that way, but it did! Lol! I was hoping folks would chime in on the mystery, but it seems we may never know! SO I guess I'm just going to enjoy playing her & putting up my pic spam.

holley! They didn't do a very good job of giving Bella 'the gift of beauty'.

And Mortimer is actually quite handsome. Lol! As soon as Cassie ages up, I'm going to give her pony tails and glasses. And they need to get to work on Alexander!

Well, with the apple (for boys) and watermelon (for girls), it seems pretty easy to pick which you'll have. I chose to have girls for both couples, but I decided to leave the next baby to chance and feed the mom neither. Before we have a new baby, we need to have some birthdays... The girls age up! Cassie and Neela: A day at the beach turns into a night of passion... Which leads to... And unlike Bella who has no problem with a home birth, Lolita takes off for the car AGAIN! And the result??? Finally a ghost baby!!! Welcome baby Charlotte. Grandma's official job seems to be bringing the babies to the cake: And Charlotte is a toddler. And here's something I thought was odd.. When I take her to the mirror or dresser, she appears human. So while I was at it, I thought I'd get a shot of Lolita as well: They're both still ghosts - I still need a life fruit bush to grow, but everything else is ready to go for the ambrosia. Now, this is just too funny to pass up! Mortimer and Bella also both had a birthday, and as soon as they were done having a slice of cake from Charlotte, then from Mortimer, then from Bella, THIS happened! So before baby Alexander comes, I put them to work: And now they're ready to make baby #2! I'll update again when I have my life fruit or when Alex shows up - whichever comes first!

Very interesting Jilly. So what are ghost toddlers like, do they have the same needs as regular ones? I'm wondering once she becomes a kid, does she have to go to school? Seems really weird. I mean if she's a ghost you would think she wouldn't need anything. Lol these sims really get fat when they get fat

JO, I think it was when I was looking up the Awesome Mod at MATY, I read that the fruit has a 50/50% in other words EA set the percentage to work 50% of the time 50% not to work so there for you are not setting the sex by the fruit, as you also have a 50/50% chance of a boy or girl anyway!!

Jo, Ghost toddlers are the same as regular ones - they still need to skill, etc. They just make a spooky sound rather than speak Simlish. (just like grown-up ghosts) Aussie, I've had good luck with the fruit choosing the sex (so far) but the fertility treatments have been a bust so far. No one that I have gotten them for has had multiple births. Also, the kid radio staition & the kid TV channel haven't worked for me either. (those are also supposed to give you multiple births)

I heard that the radio and tv should both be going at the same time. Then I guess you are meant to watch then listen?

Beats me, but I'll give it a shot! Does anyone know how many sims you can have in a house now? I've heard it's nine, but I haven't been able to confirm it. I'm thinking I may have to move one of the families out of the house to keep having kids, but I really want to keep them together.

As far as I know, you can still only have eight sims. Too bad no one has come out with a 'more sims' hack yet. Jill, what about the child-related books? Has your sims been reading any of those?
