I like it all, but are they going to fatten that lot out with store items?

Release date for here is the 5th of Feb, but I still can not find it in store!I will look tomorrow (Monday!) I will buy it for my sons birthday*Wink! wink!* after all I AM the reason he is here!lol!

Well, ain't that a bunch of crap? Why would they put in a piano and not give the option to play? Most likely, they'll have piano-playing actions in a future EP, but then they'll forget to enable the actions on THIS piano, and some modder will have to fix it for them!

The stuff actually looks pretty nice, what little they put in it. So, what made you decide to get it soon? Just couldn't stand it, eh?

What I'm really wondering is what it may have broken. I certainly do not want to have to fix all my stuff just for this measly SP. I'll probably wait to get it/install it until the next EP. That way I can get all my woes over at once.

DH bought it on sale & couldn't wait til my birthday to give it to me. (nothing to do with him pestering me until I destroyed my game...)
Since I had to restore to an earlier point to fix my mess, I had to re-install the patch. You need the patch to play the new SP, and just like Mansions & Gardens, you have to play from the SP disc. Anyway, since I already had my downloads & Mods folders out while I was working on it, I figured it was as good a time as any.

Yeah, I hear that...lol. If I was in that situation, I'd probably go for it too... IF it had something cool like hot tubs or a PLAYable piano!

I don't! Not for S2. But a non playable piano? EA just gets worse and worse!

Tina kind of unrelated but Sims 2 base game, Nightlife and OFB are safe to install and play with the OFB disk aren't they? Just in case staying at Dh inlaws is as interesting as watching paint dry, I thought I would install those 3 on the lap top we are taking.

Yeah, those are fine, for sure, if you have the original discs. the bad stuff doesn't start until H&M and BV.

Yes original disks. I hear the new versions of these also contain sucyrom. I thought it started at Pets. But Pets and Uni is something I can live without.

Nope. It started with H&M, but if you had Seasons, you still used the Seasons disc at that point, so it didn't fully install on your computer. When BV was released is when all the trouble with SecuROM started. I remember it well, because I was reading all the complaints at the BBS about all the trouble people were having with it.

Lol! Too funny! My daughter took lessons years ago, and now we, too, have a piano that we only stare at. Sometimes we pile things on it. When I sew, I put my sewing machine up on it.
