Ideas for your Elders

Part of the challenge is having elders around with weak bladders and less sleep. But really mine basically make stuff in the zone next to a snap dragon, look after toddlers and only use the loo about once a day. When you have eight in a house it's good to know, not bother about everyone all the time.

Of course my toddlers have a snap dragon each too, curtasy of the grands, so they aren't too demanding either.

Now the OWBC is much harder because snap dragons are not allowed! Which is why those gold robotics badges took and will take forever. Every heir and spouse must be gold, including Opal! *faints*

Man, that is tough Jo. It's been a LONG time since I've even used anything from OFB, including snapdragons. Sheesh, I really do need to just play my game some again someday...lol

OK, based on this thread, I decided to add the Goodie elders into my new story. I decided to age them down to adult, so I could have heirs for them, first. I just did it, and they are a really good looking couple! They both went redhead, her with custom hair:


I cheated to get them to have twins. This time it was 2 boys, Herbie Jr. & Sebastian. I tried to cheat their age to toddler, but it won't let me. As soon as they get there, I'll add some pics.

The oldest twin, Sebastian, as a child:

with both parents being redheads, I don't know where that dark hair came from!

Next is his twin, Herbie Jr. He was born a redhead:


but when he aged up, he went brown:


I felt bad, because their next child went brown, too, so I changed him back to his original redhead:


and lastly, daughter Giselle. She won't be a child for another sim day.

So that's what I did today - I actually played the game!!! Thanks for making me think about my elders, Holley! I'm glad that, when I age them back up to elders, now they will have heirs.

I think the Oldies had an heir. Wasn't Daniel Pleasant's wife, what's her name, their child?

Oh, I don't know! I had them in Bella Donna Cove - I never checked the other towns for heirs. (Is the Pleasant family in Pleasantville?) These guys are called the Goodies - Herbert and Faith - in my game. Oh well, if they did have an heir, now they have 3 more! Lol! It sure was fun!

The Oldies came with the base game and yes, Daniels wife was their adopted daughter. The Goodies came with AL. I have them in my game too, but haven't played them much yet. I put them in the townhouses that are in Belladonna Cove.

Cute kids, Jill! I've actually been playing my game lately too. I had forgotten how much fun it is to just play sometimes. ;D
