I just put some of the stuff that has been extracted from Castaway Stories from Maty into my game and it's pretty darned cool! Hehe... My sims can now climb a tree, eat bananas and papayas, and eat coffee beans. I made one guy walk on a bed of hot coals, but he wasn't very good at it and kept jumping off complaining about hot feet...lol. There is a 'toilet bush' which is cool and a leaf pile you can sleep on and a lean-to for sitting/lounging. I also like the bongo drums. ;D I only messed around around with it for a few minutes, but it was pretty darned cool!

The Maty forums have being a real PITA for me today! VERY slow to load. I don't know if it will be like that for you though. Here is a link to JM's file index for Castaway stuff. Just click on the objects folder to open and download the objects you want. Make sure to also download the cs_corefuncs.zip file so that the objects will actually work!www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/index.php?dir=csconv%2FHere is a thread that contains collections files to put into your collections folder for easier finding of things once you download them. Just scroll down a few posts and you'll see links to other cool things to download. www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,12128.0.html As a matter of fact, if you do a search on Maty for 'castaway stuff', you'll likely find tons of things that have been extracted and made to work with ts2. Don't be alarmed that they show up in red in clean installer though. I think lots of those extracted and converted things do that. It doesn't mean that they're bad.

Woot! Off to take a look. ;D
Maybe it's the site, it's downloading the first zip very slowly and the second link pics are not showing.

I almost bought Castaway Stories about a million times! That game looks so cool, but I don't have room for Sims2 and that both on my pooter. Now I can have my simmies play out their own castaway stories??? I think I love you!!!!

The very first sim story I ever did was my atempt at a castaway game play. I still want that game.

I have Castaway on my PSP and it's pretty cool, but you can't get married, have children, etc. I wouldn't mind trying on the computer. I may get someday. Who knows?

I had it in my hand all the way to the checkout line last week, then put it back. Target had the red outdoor loveseat download on it. It just looks so cool to play! Can you get married & have kids on the pc version?

Yea I believe so. They have kid stuff that has been extracted and there's pics of kids/toddlers so... yea. I'd say you could.

okay, I'm a little confused. If you buy sims2 castaway, does it fit right in with TS2 game or does it play separate...like if I was playing TS2 could I send them to the castaway island (if there is a such thing)? do you all know what I'm trying to ask/explain...cause now I'm confusing myself.
