I was playing on a family, and the mother got pregnant. She was a few days away from being an elder, so I thought "Well, the kid will be born first."
NOT! Now I have a non-pregnant, but pregnant elder waddling around!
She has maternity clothes and doesn't go to work, yet she has no baby bump or any sign of pregnancy...
Just thought I might share. Any of you guys have one of these kinds of wierd glitches?

That sounds like a weird glitch. The option to try for baby should not be there 4 days away from elder to prevent that kind of thing happening.
I do know over on Boolpop someone has a very interesting thread about a plant sim elder who is pregnant. I think they have some hack causing it though.

Oh that's messed up! Never had that happen to me, but I never let them get pregnant that close to elderhood. I guess that baby is gone for sure because even if you age her back down to adult, the baby will likely have been aborted anyway.

Actually, I promised myself no cheats on that family. I'm just letting her stay that way until she dies, which shouldn't be too far off.
The "Try For Baby" option was there three days away, so yeah...

I clicked on this link thinking it was gonna be about how old people shouldn't play the Sims. Have you ever seen those threads on the BBS were the 12 and 13 year olds say that if you are 25 or older your too old to play. Anyways, that is some pretty strange glitch.

That's weird. Hey did anyone ever kill a pregnant sim? Was the ghost pregnant?

I haven't seen any of those 12 year olds dissing us older folks for playing the sims, Holley, but it doesn't surprise me that some feel that way. They'll feel differently as they grow older though...lol I've never had a pregnant sim die, but I have read about people having them die and then ressurecting them. They were still pregnant and had the baby. I have no clue about pregnant ghosts though.

Quoted from Holley's link:
Author: happiefam4 - Rank: Stammering Sim - View MySimPage Profile Date: Apr-29-08 08:46 PM PST Subject: Re: Too old? Sometimes I sim and knit at the same time! With the lag that I get with all the EPs installed, I have that much time to kill... I just had to share that one! I thought this thread was about the "over 30" crowd playing, too! I hope I never feel too old to do anything I want to!
I applaud you for not using cheats, but curiosity would get the better of me. I'd have to boopProp her back to adulthood & see if she has the baby! I've never had a prgnant simmie die, so I don't know about the ghost, but it's an interesting idea! Screen shots, anyone?
