Cheap Expansions!!

I was at Walmart today and went to see about getting Mansion & Garden Stuff and saw that it was only $14.82. That is not the 'so unusal' part though. EVERY expansion and stuff pack they had there was the same price ... even AL which isn't all that old! I couldn't believe it! I don't know if it's just Walmart or everywhere, but it certainly seems they're trying to get rid of the stuff on the shelves.

Looks like now is the time to stock up on expansions and junk packs for those who don't already own them.

I noticed Target had them all at $19. They must be clearing them out for Sims3! I guess Mansions & Gardens will go on my wish list for Santa!

I was shocked that the expansions were the SAME price as the stuff packs. I was tempted to buy a bunch of them and register them under different user accounts to help compensate when those nasty down raters strike...LOL

I thought about another registration, too. Even double deluxe was $19 at Target - I haven't gone to Wallymart yet.

Other accounts would come in MIGHTY handy in the case of attacks by down raters. I think when someone's uploads get hit and go down dramatically in one day, it's because of someone with multiple accounts that keep hitting you over again. I know it's happened to my stuff at least THREE times. But usually only after posting something on the storyboard. It's pretty bad when you get chased away from a place just because of people doing mean stuff for no reason.

If I could have foreseen into the future... ALL my expansions would be on seperate accounts! Those people who down rate obviously thought of it first... lol

I got my AL cheap. I bought it at Circuit City, but they were having a closing sale. I've never seen so many people at once in that store, ever!

Your all so lucky. I think I paid something like $50 for my copy of AL.

I'm not sure exactly what that converts to in American dollars, but I actually paid full price for AL too, which was $30.00. Which is really stupid seeing as how I haven't installed it yet. If I had waited, I could have gotten at that MUCH cheaper price!

50 converts to $32.89. But at the moment the dollar is lousy. I think something like 68cents.
