Even though I hardly touch sims 3 I still find myself interested in what this new EP is like.

Lynda mention that her dh brought it home for her yesterday. She's supposed to pop back in and show us pics, but maybe she's just too busy playing right now...lol I don't plan to get it until Christmas. Hopefully I can stand waiting that long!  |

Well, I don't know about the EP, but I've been in a loading screen to enter a lot for 3 hrs now. The green bar is now half way. I figure by the time I get up for work in the morning, I should be able to play. I suspect his problem came via the launcher in preparing to send out the update for this EP & those who don't have it yet..

That sucks, Jill. I'll be damned if I'd wait that long. I stop it and reinstall. It isn't like with TS2 now and you have 15 discs to install. Hopefully you took my advice and made a backup. |

I have but so far it sucks. stupid thing doesnt want to load ........ I uninstalled and now I'm reinstalling it (and it takes forever ) but now I think I know what the problem is : mods folder! grrr if I had known LOL I'll let you know what I think of it if it ever loads :s |

Like I said in another thread... use your COMMON SENSE, People! ALWAYS remove Mods before installing a patch or an EP. The game doesn't like having its files altered, so they must be put back the way they were before you altered them!  Good luck, Mae! |

yes I know I should do that it's not about common sense I think I am so used to the cc to be in the game that I forget about it being only cc and that I must take it off  I know I should be attention to it but hey thats human nature right but its now working correctly and it's a really interesting way to play the sims. I like searching for old terasures and stuff  |

so far they dont have much LOL I can't play too much. but maybe tomorrow morning. I don't have class and I don't have too much work to do. I could take a pic of my sim visiting the pyramids |
