OK so I was reading a legacy story and apparently you can make a special meal to turn a ghost back into a human. 1. But first you have to max cooking and fishing. 2. Plant seed you found in the graveyard if you haven't already done so 3. Catch a death fish (in the pond in the graveyard) 4. Stir up the meal and ta-da! You've got a life giving meal www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=31927I also found cheat codes and hints www.cheatcc.com/pc/sims3cheatscodes.htmlI'll keep adding as I find info

Cool, Pixx! This is very interesting. I've also read recently that if your sim has a death flower in his inventory and has an accidental death, the grim reaper will take the flower instead of the sim.

Cool (I think the death flower will be useful to me, my sims always have freaky accidents especially when I'm just getting used to a new game >so many of my sims died in the beginning of sims 2<).
But this whole thing is just so....SUPERCOOLASONIC!!! <--yeah that ;D

PIXX, I found this yesterday while reading on the Sims 3 EX thingy! A more detailed account! How do I become a normal Sim after dying AMBROSIA! it is a food you can make in Sims 3! TO MAKE AMBROSIA 1. Cooking skill 10 2. Death Fish(skill 10 Fishing) 3. Life Fruit (skill 9 or 10 Gardening) 4. 12,000 Simoleons to buy the recipe at the Book store(you can also learn it while watching TV) Death Fish can only be caught with a fishing skill of 10. You must be fishing in the pond at the graveyard between the hours of 11pm & 5am & using an Angel Fish as bait. Doing this will get you One Death Fish a night! Life Fruit is a special plant! to grow it you need a gardening skill of 9 or 10, collect all the Special Seeds you can & plant them all, not all will grow, you will eventually have a few Life Bushes that will grow the fruit ( finding Special Seeds: Graveyard, catacombs & sometimes you can fish a seed out of the graveyard pond! not proved yet/ digging in the graveyard!) Get recipe at the book store. When you have everything you need & a cooking skill of 10, all you need to do is click on the fridge & you will have the option to make Ambrosia! WARNING: When a Sim becomes alive again, after eating the Ambrosia, their skin color MAY be different than it was before they died ! ~THIS IS A BUG~ make sure to save before eating Ambrosia! Reload, wash, rinse & repeat until you get the right skin color! Also on the same thread! To get a BOY (random) eat Apples or Apple mixed food eg: Apple-pancakes! while pregnant! To get a GIRL (random) eat Watermelon or Watermelon mixed food ! I hope this is of help to some one! Sorry I did not put the authors down as reference they are all researching these things & then writing their findings down in one thread for everyone to reference too! There are many people involved! but they will not write it as fact without testing it first! I thank all these loverly people for their time & foresight!

Cool, Pixx! This is very interesting. I've also read recently that if your sim has a death flower in his inventory and has an accidental death, the grim reaper will take the flower instead of the sim. False! I've been grooming Cornilia Goth as my maxed out gardener to make Ambrosia for me, and she had the Death Flower in her inventory, becuase she didn't have a high enough skill to plant it yet. Grimmie came and got her, ironically, while she was gardening! There was no "plead" option for either her or her kids, who came running out of the house. The Death Flower was transferred into Mortimer's inventory upon her death. I sure wish that one would've been true, cuz I had her almost there! Now I have to train a whole new gardener. (Hello, Bella...)

(Hello, Bella...) Pay attention, Jilly! It only works on accidental deaths. It doesn't work if your sim is dying of old age.

Opps! My bad! Oh, well. I guess Morty is safe (for now...) Yeah, I was an idiot & made Cornilia & Gunther my gardener & fisherman for my ambrosia dreams, and they both died before they maxed their points! Needless to say, I'll be sending some nice young adults into the fields next!

Jilly, I found this, it may help your Sims to skill faster!(not by me!)Copied from Cheats! CC. EASY COOKING,FISHING & GARDENING SKILLS! This trick requires a TV with the Cooking, Fishing & Gardening Channels, & a Video Game system! Have a Sim sit down & watch TV, switch the TV over to the skill channel of your choice, so the Sim can start earning his or her skill points. Then have a second Sim go over & play the Video games, notice that although the TV is displaying the Video games, the first Sim still has the skill meter above their head. Allow this Sim to sit there for as long as they please or until they decide to do another activity of their own. After that the skill meter will remain above their head until you start another Cooking, Fishing or Gardening skill activity. As an added bonus, you can train two skill points at once(but not two of the above mentioned, as one will cancel the other!lol!) FOR EXAMPLE: Working out! (after the above was done & with the meter still going!) Say you are skilling for Cooking, go & work out, your Cooking skill & your Athletic skill will continue to rise, at the same time!

Did you see the Ambrosia recipe above, it really sounds hard to achieve, but it has been done, so I will give it a go! I also found some more out about the death flower from the same site! ;D

OK Jilly, I hope this helps! ~ A FREE DEATH FLOWER !~To avoid accidental death! (does nothing for an old age death!) #Go to the "PLEASANT REST GRAVEYARD"near the gate is a "DEATH FLOWER BUSH"harvest the flower from it, & keep it in your Sims inventory. If you die, accidentally the Sim will give the flower to the Grim Reaper & be resurrected! Although the flower will not reappear there again, if your Sim has Level 7 or above(does not work below that level!) Gardening, then plant the "Unknown Special Seeds"found in the graveyard & some other places!these special seeds HAVE A CHANCE to grow as a "Death Flower Bush" ALL seeds will not grow! But having the Green Thumb Trait to revive the plant may help!
