I'M GOING TO KILL THE NEW EXCHANGE!

Have any of you tried uploading to the new exchange?! Holy crap, it's a pain! You have to sit through, and ok every photo to be uploaded, I had 450 photos (unsuspecting trouble with them) and I clicked upload all, so I could pick and choose later. Holy crap! A pop-up came out saying Media Discription: Photo 450. Then a couple technical things, and an ok/cancel. I clicked OK. Another one, this time for photo 449! UGH! And I'm in the kitchen, clicking my mouse as fast as possible, while my parents are asleep in the next room, my step-dad has to wake up at four, and my mom's wait for the cat to open the door and come in (seriously). *click-click-click-click-click* Ugh, I'm being more choosey with my photos next time. And, I'm going to upload to LJ, or maybe here....................hmmmm. UGH, rant over.

I heard it was like that. Way better to do a bulk upload to photobucket. I wondered about how many you can have and found this link on photobucket the other day which said I had only used up 13% So it's a heck of a lot you can keep there.

Then on LJ do your post in HTML. Copy and paste each HTMl link from under each photo. That might still take as long, but it feels more like ownership or that you are in controll rather then the exchange. Plus your photos will look great and not that tiny rubbish the exchange gives you.

Thanks, Jo. I've just been uploading with Picasa. It's the same as Photobucket, but it uses my Google account. I don't think it has the same amount of memory though, I've used up about 14% in about two days. Too bad, I like Picasa, you can import in from your game easily, then just upload to the web! I'll start using Photobucket soon, my Picasa is mainly for class. How are you, by the way?

Wow, what a pain! The new setup actually looks pretty cool too, so it makes it even more of a bummer that you have to sit there and 'ok' each photo before it uploads.

And........mine never uploaded! It got like half-way through the first one, then just quit! Ugh. We don't have broadband, but we have that Wildblue Satelite internet, which is moderately fast. It seriously just stops at the halfway mark, and doesn't even go down to the next photo! Ugh, and each photo is like a Megabyte, so 400 of them would be 4gigs right?

I know what you mean! I am having the same problem with my fat cat & a little fluffy dog,they tend to get more snuggly when its cold!

My cat sits on the barstool next to me, she's too fat to fit on my lap! lol
