Yes I see some posts on BP already too, people saying it won't run and they had to install 2/3 times and blue screen of death etc.
They are saying the install limit was removed..so if that's correct that is a very good thing.

Yeah, that is definitely a good thing! As many times as the sims games need to be reinstalled, a limit would really suck.

OMG, there's already some idiot asking about expansions! Sheesh, take a break.

Seriously - EA delays the game for 3+ months so they can advertise for a game that has been released with countless bugs. Maybe you should of spent some more time working out the issues with this game.

"Post your DxDiag", "We're working on it", "Do this", "Call them". Enough already! Face it, EA put out a sh*t game and they're not going to fess up to it. Instead, they sit behind their computers and post the obligatory tech support nonsense.

I don't know about you but, EA has definitely lost me as a customer due to the clusterf*ck they've put people through in regards to this game. Call me in 3 weeks when I can get past the installation screen, please.

Ugh! A couple people have already gotten it and charmed the pants off me but the thing is all the sims look alike no matter how you try to individualize them

Yeah, from what I heard, it's very hard to make sims loose that playdough look. I have seen a couple of fair-looking sims, but they said it took them a few hours to get it right.

I'm AM very curious about this game, and am tempted to get it just to see what it's like, but I would be totally pissed if I got it and found out I couldn't install it like a lot of other folks.

Take trip to the new sims 3 forums and read all about it. All kinds of people are getting the same couple of errors while trying to install it.

already on day 1?? well I didn't read everything people posted back there but I remember twice I bought a game from another company not EA on the first day and I had problems with the installation too. EA aren't the only ones with problems like that so I don't really understand why people want to boycott them like that. sometimes the problem isn't a big thing but you can't install the stupid game unless you have a patch :s thats the problem with PC games stupid installations

Well Mae, Simmers seem to be a dramatic lot...lol. Of course with EA's track record on BS with the sims line during the past few months, I guess I can sort of understand the reasoning by being disheartened so quickly.

Tina maybe I would understand if I had trouble with my game but after playing a bit the only really bad things I have to say is that you can't go inside most of the buildings. The other 2 person I know in real life who played with it love it too. maybe we are just too much into the sims LOL

Well I have no intentions of playing (*cough cough* can't) but I mainly wanted my copy for insurance (Still think my uncle got the one for Mac...ugh! Gaming illiterates!). I'll put 50 bucks on the bet that my uncle got the wrong one, now all I have to do is sit around all day waiting for him to get back to the bahamas so I can see for myself. And I can't play my legacy because everything is on hold until he brings Uni...I have big plans for that EP...
