It was very mysterious - and I was guessing about the reaper myself, even though I had reason to belive it was Louis! Lol! And I agree with everyone else - your descriptive skills are out of this world! I'm very weak in that area, so it's very easy to recognize when it's done correctly. This was so much more than "correctly", this was incredibly well done! And I loved the pictures - so different than we're used to seeing. The images were very strong. Does that sound like I'm just being nice?  Besides, anything that gives me a DuVall fix was going to wreck the grading curve! I expected it to be great, but it far exceeded anything I had fantasized! |

When I saw Louis, I squealed, I am not kidding! my son upstairs was asking "what's up, are you OK?" so I explained! I could hear him say "stupid Sims!" It was a delightful surprise!  ~PS~See, even my son knows who Louis is!

This story is messing with me because I am trying to pigeon hole it into your ongoing story  . I am going to ask this because I am a dork and wouldn't be surprised if I missed something. Is the female someone we should know? Does she fit into the story somehow and I totally missed it? Or am I a HUGE dork because I am over analyzing this? ME----->  <------- |

You are over analyzing, Holley. This was just a little short story I thought up because Jilly suggested that I should do a short story for the Halloween Showcase maybe showing Louis on a hunt or something. The female sim I used in the barn is someone you have seen before though. I used her because she had close to the sort of hair the female vamp has in that last picture and I didn't want to make a new sim to play the part. That sim is Shannon's mom from 'Shadows Linger in Darkness'. I just went into her house, posed her in the corner and took a picture. Then I edited it to put in a pic of Louis from the back, add some hay, and weather-beaten wooden wall boards. In short, it was a completely unrelated story.

I kind of thought it was a little prequel deal - not connected to the stories we know of the DuVall's, but something that happened before they ever heard of Shannon - maybe even before he met Penny.

LOL@Karima! Well, I am glad Louis gave you such a thrill! You may have seen the picture on a google image search or somewhere, Holley. That's where I found it. Jill, Jill, Jill.... you'd better go back and study up on Louis a bit. lol Louis didn't become a vamp until AFTER Penelope died in that horrific housefire. He became what he is because of his grief and utter despair over her loss. He made sort of a 'wish' and that's what brought old Nathaniel to him in the first place. |
