How you get cats with special coats like stars? Are they downloaded from some place? I've seen cats with various cc type coats around and thought it would be fun to add to the speed legacy cats.

;D They are special unlocked items like the collars,you also unlock special coats for your pets,the further you go with your pets the more you unlock,to unlock them you need to train your pets & advance their careers!

I've had pets advance and seen pop ups for collars but I don't think for coats. If so shouldn't they be in CAS?

;D How can I explain this, OK, you know how when you go on holidays you unlock icons which give you perks,but first you have to place them in that board,you have to do the same thing with the collars & then the coats when you get higher!

I've had some from the EX show up, and some not. I have the stars in my game - it was a pre-order code that was supplied with a sticker on the package for Pets. There's a tiny little key icon that you have to click on, then enter the code there. I'll try and find mine, and I'll post it here with better instructions.

That last one didn't work it said the code was invalid, but I did find another one that did work. Now intresting.. annoyingly, while the codes I put in all show up on the lsit, only some show up when I go to make a cat. The star and zebra markings are not showing in CAS.

Is it possible to townify cats?

Well they were there, but kind of obscure as they only showed after I clicked up a fur level. I meant the cat to have a white face and giving it a white paw must have taken off the white face. I don't fully understand CAS for pets and the whole coat levels and opaque thing in there.

What I did was make a sim with a cat, placed them on the lot then tried my summoner cat, the one I use to summon sims for stories like that ninja. Did that tonight. On that it has the option to 'make me a townie' so first time I've tried it and she immediately disappeared off the list as belonging to the house and walked off into townie land. My first ever made townie. The cat was alone on the lot for about an hour or so before the police car pulls up and took her away to the adoption pool.

I forgot about the layers/opaque thing. It must help if you really customize your pets, but it's just a pain for someone like me!
