She posted about it in the new patch thread and maybe one or two other places. She installed the patch without removing her mods, plus before that, she was having save issues. Now, after installing the patch, it takes HOURS for her game to load.

But will it cause more glitchy,glitches?? at the moment I have a Sim walking around in a very strange suit, his birthday suit, I made this Sim & he is wearing cloths & hair,but he is bald & his cloths look like he is naked, even though you can see the outline of his cloths & shoes! I will go get a pic (though he does look naked he is wearing cloths!)

I'm having the same problem! I personally think it has something to do with the launcher! Have to remember, we are connected On Line while we are playing our games. Kinda weird that all of us are having the same problem?

Jilly, did you get WA? Or did you just upload the patch?

Oh, and don't feel bad, I didn't remove my stuff either!

Back to your question: Will what cause glitchier glitches? Did you also install that EP without removing your Mods first? *raises eyebrow* *sigh*

People... use your COMMON sense, will ya? EAxis made this game to be a certain way. Now when they add a patch or an EP, they expect it to be the way they built it. Mods change the way the game works. Therefore it is NOT the same game EAxis put on the shelves! Before you install patches and EPs, you need to put the game back the way it was when you bought it! When you don't, the patch/EP sees files it does NOT recognize and all sorts of crazy things can happen.

It would be like trying to put a puzzle together without all the pieces, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, trying to tune a nice picture into your transistor radio...

Honestly Karima, it looks like you need to back up your saved games, take your mods out and put them on your desk top, and reinstall the whole shebang. It's what I'd do.


Lynda, I am not having any such problems with loading. I did have a save issue like twice, but that was before the patch. Jill only patched and hasn't gotten WA yet.

People cause their own problems by leaving a bunch of crap in their games that shouldn't be there when installing new EPs/patches a LOT of times. Like I said, my loading times are fine, and I haven't had any save problems since the latest patch either, at least not yet. The worst thing that happened was my disappearing family, but I got them back because I backed up my game before installing the patch.

:DI was typing while Tina was! I didn't realize that it was you Karima! Kinda cool that you now have naked people running around your hood! I know it's not funny, but it's hard not to laugh!!

At least you have naked people. I have ocean water where my builds are supposed to be! All the other neighborhoods are OK, but the hood that I was playing at the time of an adventure is totaled! I haven't checked today ( I was so mad for spending that amount of time doing it ) that I couldn't bring myself to look! I didn't save the game, so I'm hoping that it's alright! ;D

Tina, I will take my Mods folder out when I install WA, but know I am too scared too try! I am having problems in my game,but I have not patched yet or installed the game,because of all the glitches,as more than naked Sims are running around,ghosts are running a muck, there seems to be allot more than usual,I have had the save problem too, all this & I have done nothing to my game!

I can't say that I haven't done anything to my game, but Karima your game sounds like FUN! Put my simself, and see what happens to her! I'll be the ginny pig!!

Actually, you HAVE done something to your game, just as we all have... You've added a mods/packages folder and that means you've been downloading and adding things to your game. It sounds to me as if you may have gotten a bad download or something.

I would say try taking ALL your CC out and see what happens. If that doesn't work, then you may need to reinstall and then be very careful about what you download and put into your game. I think the save issue is an EAxis thing, although it could have something to do with TS3 just not liking some of our cc. Who knows?

Sorry about your troubles, Karima. I know it has to be frustrating as hell. Sometimes we just have to 'bite the bullet' and start over.

Lynda, you are in this Hood, already,because this is the DD challenge Hood, in the pic is sue,the other Sims do not see him as nude! I could not show the lower front,because his trousers are a bit hairy!(the snail trail leads to something!)

The ghosts are scaring Sims in the street, Tina was out jogging, then a ghost came out of an empty block, & tried to scare her,but all she did was complain about the smell(it was a fire ghost!) A ghost also tried to scare the Sim I am currently playing,he took no notice of it even though it was a very pretty female ghost (purple,so died of hunger!) At night you can see them all in map view as they move around as they are quite bright & glowy!

It sounds like you've definitely put something into your game that's causing it to run amuck. lol As exciting as it sounds, it can't be good.
