All I know, for sure, is that Seasons broke the collections in such a way that you could not access them from buy mode, but you could in build mode. Bon Voyage completely broke it so that the build mode option wasn't there anymore either. If the stuff is in the buy catalog, then you can use them. It's only the things that are strictly in collections, but not actually in your downloads folder that don't work anymore. As a matter of fact, it says so right in the thread that Karima's link points to.

It seems like Bon Voyage has some new coding which makes it impossible for non-buyable to be in collection files, so these collection files won't work if you got Bon Voyage installed - Sorry!
I'll update this post if I find another way to make these work with Bon Voyage!"

I know Tina I read that too, but I still have over half of this collection in my buy catalog, only a few things are missing from this original download, I have used them too, as background clutter & props, so they still work for me, that is why I suggested this as they have worked for me!with no problems, the only thing you have to remember is once placed they can not be deleted so put them on a table,side table or desk (I use placeable slots, the invisible kind!)so you can sell the prop by deleting what it is sitting on!

Really they can't be deleted? Ouch that would get me in trouble as no way would I remember that.

That's cool. That means that the ones you still have are actually in your downloads folder, in the buy catelog. If they weren't, you couldn't get to them. I had a few cool collections like that, including aspiration/career reward collections by TwoJeffs, that I could no longer use after BV.

Some of the stuff went grey so I deleted it,even the thumbnail was grayed out,so I got ride of those suckers quick smart! as you know I already had enough probs with my game & all because of my insiminator! ;D

The extracted game items, for instance, evil toys made by the craftbench, were packaged as a 'collection'. BV made it that these certain collections won't show up.
If you can find them individually, those may work. As the group, they won't. (I think that's right... )

Jill, what I said was my collections are still in buy mode! for me only some showed up grayed out which I got ride of,so I still have the original 'collections' but not everything shows, but the bulk of the 'collections' are still there!

I think you guys are talking about extracted items from Castaways...right?
Anyways, i downloaded the bow and Arrow. I'll look at all the links to see if maybe I can find something else that will work. Maybe i'll send a request to a CC maker for some kind of Spear...I would really like a spear.
