What's the matter with people, cutting into our sim time?  I finally have a storm-free evening, and I'm too exhausted to work on my story! I probably won't update until after I move, with all the packing that still needs to happen. I have to get caught up, too. There's Simtopi that I was reading at SWG, and I haven't had time to look at that in ages! My luck, I'll probably fall asleep reading! (I do this all the time - dh laughs at me!) |

Hey Pixx, good to see you around. The run down on my life this past month has been flu for ds, dd and me. Then ds got school sores and I did my back.  I think I've had about 3 good days. Went to the city for specialist appts for my kids and made my wallet much, much lighter. DS needs to take a WIAT and a WISK test and dd needs glasses. Luckily she is rather keen on the rainbow frames she picked out. Been back two days, so far so good on everyone’s health. *touch wood* Now I've made a small start on my next update, Nicoli's chapter. Except the scenes are going to take a ton of cc and getting the set right might take as long as the writing of it. |

Good morning everyone, this is day 2 of amylu's 3 day weekend!  I love pointless british bank holidays. Jo, glad to hear everyone's healths are picking up, and Sarah's glasses sound really cool! Rainbow frames make the glasses worth it. And I can't wait to see the new chapter! Hii Pixx, good to see you around, sorry to hear you're busy, but glad to see you posting. And as I went to a beer festival yesterday, today is sims day! Possibly shopping if the weather picks up, but mostly simming. Oooh, and I voted on the make-over competitions, Don has been thoroughly psychologised! Great job everyone who took part. |

Hey, Pixx!
I'm also on day 2 of a three-day weekend (Memorial Day is monday, in remembrence of soldiers who died in service)
We find out Tuesday if we got the apartment we looked at yesterday, and if we did, then our move date is June 24th. There's NO WAY I'm going to be ready in time, so you won't see me on as much, due to packing up a 3 bed, 2 bath house & 2 car garage into a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment, no garage.
I really hate moving.

Ah, our rememberance day is in November, tomorrow is just called 'May Bank Holiday', so goodness knows what it's for. Good luck moving Jill, hope it all goes smoothly for you. I can't imagine packing that much stuff, we struggle moving from 1 beds to 1 beds! I don't move again until August/September this year, but I'm not looking forward to the hassle. |

Our remembrance day is known as Anzac day and that was in April. I hate moving with a passion. When dh thought about moving from here a year ago I thought of every downfall to it I could think off! Am I ever glad we are staying. Manic Monday for me. |

I'm spending too much time "sorting" things I need to get rid of. My sinuses/allergies are going crazy while I go thru my fabric stash and the dusty things I had stored away in my garage & the crawl space of the house. I keep telling myself "if you haven't used it in XX years, you don't need it", but then I open the boxes & say, "Oh, I remember this - I love this!"

We did a clear out of my childhood room before I moved back out again earlier this year and I did the same thing - 'oh yeahhh, I used to love this toy/book/random scrap of paper!' It doesn't make moving easy, does it? I enlisted the help of people who were more objective and kept asking me why I wanted to keep stuff and if I'd ever use it again. It helped a lot. Right, I am going to open sims shortly, although lunch is sounding good too... |

I am going to go take my son Christian to Disney's California Adventure today to ride the new Little Mermaid ride. It's open to day for annual pass holders.
