I think sims3 will be fun for awhile as a side game, but the whole hood aging and not being able to play other families will bug me.

To me,that is one of my peeves, other than that unless the are going to make add ons to keep peeps coming back for more(just like ALL their EA games!Tried & true why change it now!) The game going on while you are playing another house!.......I felt the exact same way about Sims 1! ;D but the first time I installed my new present of a special addition Sims 2 (That had Sims 2 & Uni! & then Sims 2 basegame & what was later to be called Celebration Stuff "The Sims2 Holiday Edition) I liked all the new stuff ! I was hooked (but then we do have every Sims pack from the beginning!)The only way you can say that is if you try it yourself!

Oh yeah, I feel a ton of EPs coming on, just like usual. You CAN play other houses, but then you run the risk of things happening to the house you just left while you're gone.. unless you turn story progression off, which is broken right now without a work around, but I'm sure will be fixed whenever they release a patch.

One of the coolest things to me is this:

Yesterday, I was playing my house and several cars went by outside and I saw several neighbors entering their houses after coming home from work or wherever. To me, it's sort of like when Nightlife came out and you could finally see the houses, etc around you. It makes it feel as if you're not alone on the planet. Also, the movement of the sun and shadows is AWESOME! The world doesn't just suddenly go from daylight to pitch black night all of a sudden.

This game is definitely NOT The Sims 2, and I do not plan on abandoning The Sims 2, but it is definitely different, fun, and exciting right now, possibly because of the novelty of it, plus the fact that the sims seem to really let you know what they want and I don't have to use my imagination as much right now as with the sims 2. Right now, my imagination is a bit burned out. lol

I haven't seen that video...lol. I have no clue about 'the nasties', Karima. I haven't even taken my sims to the cemetary yet.

;D I left a link for it in the Sims 3 thread for photo shoot! it is in Jilly's thread 'Guess what DH bought me?'? but I do not think it works! & I was interrupted by a Microsoft update that was annoying me for like an hour! So, to get rid of it I did the update!

;D Well there is the Zombie Bear in the Catacomb's at the graveyard! & I have seen the big rat, but what else has anyone discovered??? I do like the new Grim Reaper he has a fun personality! But I have also read there is more than one, as he ends up in your Friends you know Thingy!
