Okay, my town isn't much bigger than Festus, if it is at all, so I'm going to start with a pic of the closest city from us, which is about an hour away. This is the lovely city of Charlotte, NC:  Don't blink! lol This is a picture of the main street going through lovely Historic Downtown Statesville, NC:  The Historic Vance Hotel: The town's clock tower: I have no clue what's actually in this building now. I think it has some lawyer's offices, etc.  Hungry? This is the main fancy restaurant downtown (besides the one inside the Vance Hotel), to which I've never even been...lol:  Higher learning anyone? lol The local community college, which Crissy has been attending for the past two years, located in the heart of downtown:  They say you can't fight it. The entrance to city hall...lol  If you head north out of town on 'main street', you will eventually pass this: The exit of interstate 40, where you'd get off if you were travelling from out of town to head toward my house. The red structure you see there is a Sheets gas station, which is fairly new. The road that runs beside it is new, goes nowhere, and we were hoping to get a new shopping center or something, but it was put in two or three years ago and what you see is still what you get... lol!  That pretty much closes this little pictorial tour of my town. Wasn't that exciting?   |

Lol, I loved it Tina! So all those pics are from Charlette, except for the last one? The college looks like a really historic, well-kept mansion.....who's Crissy, btw?  Do you have kids that I don't know about?! lol Loverly pics, tina. |

Oh NO... pay attention, Sawyer! ONLY the first pic is Charlotte. It says so in the second pic.  Glad you liked the pictorial tour, even though you got lost after the first shot.  Oh... Crissy is my younger daughter, who is a member here although she doesn't post much. Stephanie is my older daughter, who is only a year older than Crissy. She's also a member here who doesn't post much either.

You don't need a camera, Jill. The pics I posted weren't taken with my camera. I just googled my city and town and clicked on 'images' to get a few shots from around here. Go ahead and try it. If I can do it, anyone can! |
